  • Prepare Your Documents: Upon your arrival at the airport, prepare all the documents, including your passport, visa, and arrival card before proceeding to the immigration hall.
  • Follow the Signage: Thereafter, please follow the signage near the transfer area to reach the immigration hall.

  • Immigration & e-Visa: Delhi Airport has 48 immigration counters & 46 e-Visa/Visa counters at the Arrival Section and 60 immigration counters & 4 e-Visa/Visa counters at the Domestic to International Transfer.

  • Proceed to Baggage Reclaim: After clearing immigration, please proceed to the Baggage Reclaim area to collect your flight baggage.
  • Information Screen: Check the information screens for the flight’s carousel number and collect your checked baggage after ensuring it belongs to you.
  • Porter Service: Get assistance from the porter service to make your airport journey light and hassle-free.
  • DGR List: All departure passengers, please refer to the DGR (Dangerous Good Regulations) articles list displayed at all the Check-in counters/SHA Entry Points at Terminal 3.

  • Proceed to Customs: After collecting your bags, proceed to Customs to get your goods cleared under the Green or Red Channel.
  • Green & Red Channel: The baggage clearance at the major International Airports in India consists of two channels for clearance—Green and Red. Proceed to the Green Channel if you do not have any dutiable goods to declare and the Red Channel if you have dutiable goods to declare.
  • Wrong Declaration of Goods: Non-declaration or wrongful declaration of the dutiable goods may result in confiscation of goods, fine or penalty. Serious offences like attempting to smuggle Gold, without declaration may lead to arrest & prosecution.
  • Customs Information: The Indian Revenue Department has specified a list of items, including the size that can now be imported duty-free as part of the baggage. For this information and more on customs, visit this link.

  • Shop and Dine: After you have completed the customs process, you can visit the shopping and dining outlets to grab something before leaving the airport.
  • Exit Gate Signs: To leave the airport with your luggage follow the signs to the exit gate.
