Gwalior Fort

Sahastrabahu Temple (Sas Bahu Ka Mandir)

 The 11th-century monument has been dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple gets its quirky name due to the building structure, suggesting an association that implies they're together and interdependent. The Sas temple being the larger one and the Bahu temple being the smaller one. The twin complex Sahastrabahu Temple is well-known for its intricate wall carvings.

Man Singh Palace

A breathtaking piece of architecture, the Man Singh palace is intricately designed with turquoise tiles on the walls and was built by Maharaja Man Singh Tomar. Its architecture has been vividly celebrated by many historians alike.

Jai Vilas Palace

Jai Vilas Palace houses the Scindia legacy and now has been converted to a museum. The palace is largely famous for its silver toy train, which served food for the royal family, and the housing of the two of the most enormous chandeliers globally. It also has the largest hall carpet in Asia in the magnificent Durbar Hall.

Tansen's Mausoleum

Tansen, one of India's most excellent musicians ever, was crowned as one of the nine jewels of Emperor Akbar's court. Gwalior is the home to the tomb of this Indian gem, where every year, the Tansen Music Festival is organized to commemorate his legacy.
