What to pack
Getting organized and packing for a trip can be easy if you first prepare a list!
Other than important travel documents, some of the essentials required for travel if easily available in your baggage, makes traveling a lot more convenient.
However, pack only what you absolutely need. India is a lovely country to shop in, where clothes, jewellery, and almost everything is very inexpensive and widely available.

Winters (November to January) can get very cold in North India. In Delhi, temperatures fall to as low as 3 to 4Âș C at the peak of winter. Woollens, thermal wear, overcoats, sweaters, shawls are essential. |

Summers (April to June) can get extremely hot. Cotton clothing is best suited for this time of the year. Monsoons are humid (July to September). Cottons are best suited for this season too. |

Pack a wide-brimmed hat, sunblock and sunglasses when visiting during the summer months. |

Pack an umbrella, if you plan to visit during the rainy season. |

Take comfortable, rubber-soled sandals and shoes. |

Carrying medicines for common ailments like cold,
fever, upset stomach, would be useful in case of
requirement. For any other specific medical
condition, it is advisable to carry a medical
certificate / copy of the prescription or any other
relevant document which would be useful,
should you require medical attention. |
