Terminal 2 (T2)
The key objectives of this Major Development Plan are:
- Upgrade the general aesthetics of the Terminal.
- Provision of inline X-ray baggage scanning system.
- Improve the surface access and traffic planning outside the Terminal.
- Upgrade signage within the Terminal.
- Upgrade flight information and PA systems within the Terminal.
- Improve passenger amenities and services within the Terminal.
- Upgrade the retail offering within the Terminal.
- Improve the public information displays within the Terminal.
- Upgrade ceremonial lounge.
- Develop a scheme that provides minimum disruption to the existing Terminal
operations during construction.
- Reconfigure, expand (and relocate where necessary) critical passenger processing
and
operational support areas within the existing terminal facility to allow increased
passenger
numbers to be handled.
